Underpinning

Island Foundations Corporation has been building concrete infrastructure throughout the five boroughs and northern New Jersey since 1994.

Underpinning is a class of construction services used for strengthening and stabilizing foundations of existing structures. As part of a structural rehabilitation, underpinning typically involves removing, replacing and or rebuilding some or all of the load bearing foundation elements such as footings, pilings, mat-slabs, or the basement walls of the structure.
