Island Foundations Corporation has been building concrete infrastructure throughout the five boroughs and northern New Jersey since 1994.

The construction of foundations is the process of excavation, rock removal and building of the cement and steel sub-structure that will ultimately carry the building-to-be-built’s weight to stable earth and in many cases through the use of pilings to the bedrock below. Pilings can be drilled and then filled with cement and steel reinforcing rod or pounded directly into the soil below.

Other key services involved in a foundation project include rebar services, cement pouring and polishing including architectural concrete for color and surface effects.
